  • The high flow rate keeps fresh water moving through the bed continuously, maintaining a steep gradient and allowing extraction to work at full capacity. The result is complete, even extraction, even with a finer grind and in less time. Positive flavor compounds come forward while negative ones are suppressed. What you get is a cup with a noticeably more layered, complex flavor profile.

    HIFLUX's filters are made with Lyocell – a regenerated cellulose fiber, extruded into smooth, continuous threads rather than the wood pulp construction of traditional paper filters. That structural difference means significantly less surface area for lipid adhesion, allowing more oils to pass through. Since lipids carry aromatic compounds, the brew retains more aroma, more intensity, and more lasting flavor expression. The cup does not flatten after the first sip. It stays alive in the glass.
